Powerpacks typically include an oil reservoir unit and an electric motor unit. The oil reservoir unit usually consists of the aluminium hydraulic oil tank, inspection hatch, hydraulic oil filter and temperature or level gauge. The electric motor unit comprises of an electric motor, pump, coupling and bell housing. As the construction of the powerpacks can be of marine grade aluminium, they are capable of withstanding the harsh marine environment.
