Mobile Sub Cable & Stowage Transport System

Tescorp has developed a solution to overcome the barriers of storing and transporting high voltage cables. This solution enables these cables to be dispatched at a moment's notice in the event of an emergency.

The unit is custom built onto an existing twin axle trailer and is fitted with a 2.8KW petrol power pack. The cable reel module itself is fabricated around a steel frame with 3 individual cable reel modules, each consisting of 9 individually rotatable storage reels, each capable of storing 45 metres of 65mm cable.

Operation is simple via a push button control panel on the side of the machine controlling reel direction enabling fast and effective spooling or de-spooling of cable.

Due to each storage reel being able to operate independently a variety of cables are able to be transported and accessed easily and efficiently.

Because the unit is petrol driven it does not require a PTO drive or external power source enabling the trailer to be operated independently once in position.
